Those who know me (Grace) don't even have to ask. In fact, they'd be looking for it.

I love cats, lemons, wrestling, but a love I've had longer than all of those was for the RMS Titanic. Yes, the movie was great, but I've loved the ship before the movie ever even came out. Titanic sparked my love of history. Hours upon hours were spent looking at pictures of the ship before and after the wreck alone in my room.

While you won't find an iceberg in at the venue, or me wearing the Heart of the Ocean or anything, I hope you'll see the inspiration. None of the venues scouted were built past 1920, for good reason. The woodwork and warm decor aesthetic from 1912 (the year of Titanic's maiden voyage) was important to me.

You may also see hidden elements of Titanic- colors, certain designs, typographical references, etc. They'll be subtle. But they'll be there.

Beyond Titanic, I am designing the save the dates, and invitations, as well as this entire site (hello!). Two rules I've implemented upon myself, to keep me not basic, are:

1 - No floral designs

2 - No scripted fonts

Oh, and there will be lots of blue. Lots of blue.
