Satyam Shah
Best Man
Sat and Rob started taking the same bus to school in 1986. In all the languages, in all the volumes, every thought any human has ever had, few have had the importance of this friendship.
John Therkelsen
Groomsman
John is the eldest, and he acts like it. He knows his way around a motorcycle and a motherboard, but not humans. If he had more horsepower for processing, he would pursue his never-ending quest to negotiate.
Dave Therkelsen
Groomsman
Dave has been a middle child for the important portion of his life. His rugby playing physique is the reason Rob started wrestling in 2nd grade. Dave can shoot arrows while riding a horse, and thinks Eli’s streak is more impressive than Brady’s rings.

John
Father of the Groom
John worked hard to provide a comfortable life for his family. He has both shot a hole-in-one and bowled a perfect game, but John is most proud of being grandpa to Max, and father of three not-so-gentlemen.

Max
Ring Security
Nephew, orator, fan of cars, cheese quesadilla connoisseur, 3 year-old. Favorite PJ Masks character - Catboy.

Geiger Powell
Dude of Honor
Grace and Geiger met in 8th grade, which had to be destiny because they didn't have a single class together. They have the same initials, well, until Grace gets her married name. But they will always be #gapngap4eva
Ric Ross
Bridesdude
Ric showed up at the Apple store Grace worked in Tampa at first as a customer, then as a coworker. Not long after they were on the same team, became friends and hung out anywhere from Ybor to Disney World.
Hendrix Hess
Bridesdude
Hendrix moved to New York City from Indiana and found himself working in the SoHo store with Grace. Hendrix and Grace hung out for the first time at a Taco Bell. He loves to go out and have a good time. She doesn't, but he convinces her to do it.

Claire
Originally from Whitestone Queens, Claire's catchphrase when it comes to how many kids she has is, "One. One good one." She loves to have a good time and will most likely be one of the first people on the dance floor.
Mother of the Bride

Winter (the dog)
Flower Distribution Specialist
A true pooch. What a dog. Born in Puerto Rico, Winter loves dancing with her father, as well as nibbling, but mostly licking. Enjoys ignoring dogs at dog parks. She's working on being more dog-like, but her parents love her just the way she is.
No, the cats won't be at the wedding. But they're important and deserve a spot on this page.

Othello "Mr. Cat"
Accounting/Broker/Cat
Serious. Studious. Cuddle champion. Othello has been with Grace since 2005, and hopefully will continue to be with her for another 40 years. Rob may have Sat as a soulmate, but Grace has her Mr. Cat.

Oswald
Fuzz Patrol
More fuzz than cat, Oswald was adopted as a kitten. No one knew how fluffy he'd become. Beyond his fluff, Oswald likes to scare his sister Winter (the scary pit bull), knead pillows, and hang out with Grace whenever she uses the bathroom. #cats
When Grace and Rob met, they had both recently lost a parent. Their mutual experience bonded them. Unfortunately this means that Rob never met Grace's dad, nor Grace Rob's mom, respectively. We miss them, love them, and know they'd be so proud on our special day.

Jean
Mother of the Groom
Jean's day-to-day life for a long time consisted of getting her three boys to school, practice, and games on time. She was an active participant in every organization that three rambunctious boys could join. Somehow all their schedules were finagled to make room for a family dinner at the end of the day. She could beat you at Jeopardy, never cheated at solitaire, and knew the words to every musical on Broadway since 1963.

Jim
Father of the Bride
If anyone knows Grace's knack for finding humor in any situation, you can thank Jim. He'd do anything to make Grace and Claire laugh, including (but not limited to) hiding things in shopping carts, dancing with his mouth open, or singing in ridiculous falsetto. Jim enjoyed cigars, Latin jazz, and anything that connected him to his Italian-boy-from-Brooklyn roots. In his eyes he saw himself as Robert De Niro. Ask Grace about his "cow-man" phase.
